Marissa McTasney; owner and founder of Moxie Trades was appointed as a member of the Expert Panel under the Ministry of Status of Women in Canada by the Honourable Minister Dr. Kellie Leitch in Fall 2014. Marissa toured across Canada and met with hundreds of women business owners and leaders with the goal of determining the tools required to be successful. Much of the research indicated that women need mentors. But if that’s the case, don’t our girls need them too before the world influences their own perceptions of themselves? In response to this report and in celebration the UN declared Day of the Girl on October 11, Moxie Trades is launching a challenge – the GOT MOXIE CHALLENGE!
MOXIE IS THE ABILITY TO FACE FEAR WITH SPIRIT AND COURAGE
